According to a recent study online video is becoming more important compared to other tools like websites, emails and printed media. In fact, since 2009 its use has increased almost 20% and companies are finding this tool more attractive and powerful to transmit the messages to their targets. So why is this happening? The explanation lies on the online video formula: dynamic content + images in movement + mass communication through the internet which becomes a more effective content marketing. So, while other tools have no longer way to rise, it is esteemed that the use of online video will increase more and more along with the arise of emergent video mass networks like YouTube. This was a study made by ContentWise and the Custom Content Council, a professional organization which represents the custom media professionals in North America, to North American companies.

YouOn – Creativity and Technology was invited to participate at the WORKSHOPMETI.2011 “ClusterTIC@minho: the newest generation” organized by theEngineering Faculty of the Minho University. The event took place on the 14thJanuary at the Azurém Campus in Guimarães. Several very interesting issuesregarding the evolution of Information Technology were discussed and therewas also a presentation of companies that bet on technological innovation asadded value and differentiation.

Besides YouOn, four other companies contributed to the event. These companies,located in Braga, apply technology in totally different areas of business and arecurrently operating in the global market.

YouOn was invited to be a partner of this huge event that takes place in Oporto Coliseum and that brings together more than 3000 people.
This is more than an entertainment event, because it aims to inspire people to make a positive difference in the world and the winnings are for AMI. Native of the North of Portugal, Armindo Araújo is an awarded rally pilot. He won the Production Car World Rally Championship in 2009 and 2010. Armindo Araújo’s fans were able to watch the official presentation of the WRC 2011Project live. The event took place in Lisbon and hundreds of fans had the possibility to watch the press conference and post comments at the same time.

Wiity project is a brilliant idea from Gonçalo Vilarinho, in a simple way we can say it´s a world trip that has the main goal of asking prominent local politicians, academics, journalists, businesspeople, artists, union leaders, youngsters of the many continents the same question about global challenges. What is the new world going to be like?

After several months of production YouOn officially releases 12 videos produced for the National Coordination for HIV / AIDS on the Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of AIDS. The videos are available at the multimedia area.

Musician Sandy Kilpatrick's concert took place on the 16th July in Theatro Circo, an emblematic venue of the city of Braga, and was broadcast live through the OTOS LIVE platform. The feedback from the viewers of the United Kingdom was very positive.
